Now the next step what distinct nook or cranny will you call home to your business? Aspen is made up of many different microcosms within the larger beast. Below you will get an in depth look at the various neighborhoods available.

The Downtown Core
The Aspen core bustling with nightlife, restaurants, retail and the beating heart of the community. If you want to be steps away from shopping, dining and the gondola this is the place for you. Faint of heart be warned the night time revelers can be very loud which the local police take as a sign of vitality. If you’re sensitive on the ears this area will not be for you. However if you want to be in the thick of things no place would be better.

Red Mountain
Red mountain is famous for its million dollar views and millionaire residents. Located directly across the valley from Aspen Mountain, Red Mountain has long been host to Fortune 500 CEOS and Playboy Bunnies. With 360 degree views you can sit in your home looking above all that Aspen has to offer and only a short walk away and access to hiking of the Hunter Creek Valley right at your fingertips.

Starwood
Starwood located across from the Roaring Fork River is aptly named. Filled with 7 bedroom mansions with sweeping views of the Elk Mountain ranges you will find most homes secluded away from the road with gated access and ample amounts of land. If you are looking for a quiet, luxurious ranching existence this is the place for you. Starwood is still close to town ranging from 4 to 8 miles from the core.

East Aspen
East Aspen has wonderful river estates and Independence Pass access. East Aspen is filled with large homes with sweeping views of the North Star preserve, a large protected estuary and the head waters of the Roaring Fork River. If you choose to live here you will be rubbing elbows with the likes of Kevin Costner who owns the land leading right up to the White River National Forest, the last home before the road closes for the winter on Independence Pass. It has a feeling of seclusion while only being minutes from down town Aspen.

The West End
The West End of Aspen is the favorite of those owners who visit primarily in the summertime. The west end has the Aspen Institute and the Benedict Music tent that hosts the Aspen Music School and many of the JAS Aspen performances. If live music, stirring intellectual debate and owning a cruiser bike is your scene this neighborhood cannot be topped. Adorable Victorians dot the landscape in between more modern remodels. Out of the cast of Shadow mountain the West End also enjoys more afternoon sunlight. Town is only a few minutes away.

Cemetery Lane
Cemetery Lane is aptly named from the old mining cemetery in Aspen’s early days. Don’t let the dreary name fool you. Close golf course, river and town access is available. Located just outside of Aspen proper cemetery lane is characterized with classic 1960s ski home architecture. Close to town while being comfortably away from noise.
